Uncontrolled Diabetes

Uncontrolled diabetes refers to a condition where a person with diabetes is not effectively managing their blood sugar levels. This can occur due to a variety of factors, such as not taking medications as prescribed, not following a healthy diet, not exercising regularly, and not monitoring blood sugar levels regularly.

Uncontrolled diabetes can lead to a range of complications, including damage to the blood vessels, nerves, and organs such as the eyes, kidneys, and heart. It can also increase the risk of developing infections, slow down the healing process, and lead to poor circulation and amputations.

Symptoms of uncontrolled diabetes can include increased thirst and urination, fatigue, blurry vision, slow healing of wounds, and frequent infections.

Brittle Diabetes

Brittle diabetes, also known as labile diabetes, is a rare form of diabetes characterized by frequent and severe fluctuations in blood sugar levels. People with brittle diabetes may experience sudden and unpredictable episodes of hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) or hyperglycemia (high blood sugar) that can be difficult to manage and may require frequent hospitalizations.

The exact causes of brittle diabetes are not fully understood, but it is thought to be related to a combination of factors, including genetics, insulin resistance, and certain hormonal imbalances.

Hypoglycemia Management

Hypoglycemia, also known as low blood sugar, occurs when blood glucose levels drop below normal levels. It can be caused by a variety of factors, including skipping meals, taking too much insulin or other diabetes medications, exercising excessively, or drinking alcohol.
